I have always hugged them and told them every day what they mean to me. I know I know I am a sucker for a good hug, but his mom has been my mom, and his dad has been just like a dad to me. I wouldn't know what to do with out them! And they know I love them lots n lots!
It really is nice to know that they will be there with you and Millie! Go in laws go! Hee hee

Oh I have the same issue, my parents don't see the kids unless they are flying through once every few years... and when I go to see them, they want all the grand parent things to happen even though my kids don't know them all that well. I don't know what happened? I am just thankful I have Nana and Dada, they live 20 feet away from me now, so check with me in a few months to see if I still feel the same way! Hee hee

You guys are lucky. My mother did not even come to my wedding and I was living in her house. After the wedding, she came to the reception and acted like all was well - but she complained about things every day since because he lived with me in my room until he left the army the first time and left for California a few months before I quit my job and joined him. His mother was surprised that a 'foreigner' (I was born in germany) spoke such good english... so I guess he did not tell anyone much about me before I got there. It turned from cool to luke warm until I had their first grandchild from a son of theirs.
Just goes to show there are strange families as well as super families - just wish we could all pick the ones we want... (from birth on.. that would be nice and less stressful).
Start... so right about needing hugs. Hugs just feel so good - I guess because I didn't get them while a child, but really take advantage of them now, especially from my daughter and brother - it drives them nuts sometimes but I just don't care - I want what I want when I want it... so there.

Ha chery you know what mine wouldn't have either if my uncle hadn't of kicked up a fuss that hurt really bloody hurt and was quite honestly the last straw my dad might have been a lot of things but he would never in his living years have let me down.
But that's past and e happens and now I have ben and his lovely lot to look after me its what I call good luck.

Okay, well back to serious studying, even though my instructor told me it was not necessary with my average so far. Got to hit the congenital heart defects.
And, please, no hugs start, I'm not in a touchy feely mood right now. Sorry, hope you understand. Oh, and I'm not very sweet right now either.
Maybe after the stress of the finals is over I may feel differently, but I just want to be left alone till I get my grade tomorrow night.

Yep, we keep a small lamp on in his room, night-lite on in bath, and lamp above stove in kitchen is on... just going to have to harden myself and let him cry and get over it.

Ah, RPG, do you have monster spray? If not, run don't walk to get you some. You can find it along with the airfresheners in the grocery store. (wink wink)
I had some stockpiled when Little J was little. It worked wonders cause monsters don't like the smell of it and they run far far away when you spray it. LOL
Thanks for the well wishes ladies... My school website is down, boo hoo, that is where I have the passwords for the ATI Testing site, so that I can take some practice tests. Guess I'll just have to get my notes out this morning instead.

Grounding Bar vs. Neutral Bar?
[ 14 Answers ]
Hello all. I have extended the wires from an unused 240 outlet to the backyard for a spa via a sub-panel. I also hooked up a new grounding electrode near it to avoid having to run a fourth wire all the way back to the main panel. This fourth wire goes to the small grounding bar in the sub-panel...
