    Yes Joe... so far it is grand... peaceful, serene and relaxing. My wife and I planned to go see the movie "August Rush" today. However we have had a freezing rain all night and still today. Everything is covered with a beautiful sparkling ice covering. But very dangerous, I slid down the driveway just getting my morning papers.

    Other than that... swell.:D

    Hello There albear, sorry did not catch up on the pages. Good to see you guys all here and comfy.

    Excellent Stringer, all it means is your able to spend more quality time inside and maybe watch a different movie. Oh the upside of not going out.

    Freezing rain sucks unless you both have ice skates and make a day of skating out of it. (;

    Ice skating?? That would require a new job description Joe.

    I was really good at regular roller skating "once" I even worked at a indoor "Roller Rink". I remember, all the "moves" my friend, spinning, dancing, backward skating, jump spin, all that. Yeah, but not now.

    ***** (Rpg----you've got me feeling OLD here.............!!!!!!!);)

    I' m still here...
    Just had a call from my brother in Las Vegas. He wants to have me come see him for two weeks in January if the price is right. I told him he did not need to, but he said he knows how much I love the place and it would be the last time for me alive.. because my urn will be on his fireplace when my time comes. I will find out tomorrow how far the cancer has spread and if I can fly in January. You see, I don't do the chemo or surgery trip... because I know from experience that it does not work for this type of carcinoma and I don't plan on wasting time in a stupid hospital when I can raise some heck as long as I can and be with my loved ones. That phonecall from him made me cry happy tears so it took me a few minutes to gather myself.

    So, whether this trip will happen or not, I will wind up being a permanent resident in Las Vegas again soon. The germans don't allow you to keep urns at home, but they do allow funeral shops to ship urns worldwide as long as they are delivered to another funeral institute which will call the recipient to come and pick me up. Can you imagine anything better than spooking in Las Vegas and being a guardian angel to your grandchild, I can't.

    So... how are you doing?

    Hi chery,
    If your brother is flying out of Vegas, depending where you live (they only have flights in certain areas) but Vegas is one of them.
    Check out allegiant airlines... I'm telling you, they have fabulous deals.
    Make sure to check out their flight calendar when you're looking for a flight because it will show you the different prices on different days.

    Thanks for the hint, I will forward the url to him. I'm the one that will have to fly from Frankfurt Germany to Las Vegas, and did it before.. but we are looking for more reasonable prices for this trip. But if the doctor does not think I should fly, then I will just have to wait a while longer before finally getting there.

    My daughter is also looking into flights from germany for me - they wanted to surprise me, but had to let it out because I might need permission from the clinicians and get extra prescriptions for meds that I have to take for pain. It is a lot of beurocratic crap to go through, but I'll do whatever it takes to comply with rules.

    My daughter will also have to take care of my cat during that time and he's stuck on me.
