Thanks for the compliment, but he is a lot cuter. I cannot resist wanting to smooch that neck of his all the time but he's not too amused when I do it. He likes me to blow on his tummy, though - man, the giggles I get then just warm my heart.

There is also no perfume in the world to take the place of the smell of them babes. Jaime always had sensitive feet, and he does too. I just love to get those 'footzers' - they taste good too!
Just a nutty grandma who is grateful to have the chance to be one.

I understand... my mom thought she would never be one! LOL My cousin has a fetish with baby parts too... she made me email her pictures of just his ear, just his toes and just his fingers. I thought that was so weird at the time, now that I look back at those pics... I am very grateful she made me do it.

Morning hon. How are the three of you doing? Is millie out of diapers?
I have not been to bed since yesterday around 800, but my bum is getting tingley so I'll have to change position soon, and that will be horizontal.

Animal love is as close as it gets to truly unconditional love, in my experience. But stop feeding them for a day and they'll remind you that it's not perfectly unconditional.

When a cat looks for a place to rest it kind of pats the area a little with paws and long nails. Well, Larry does that to me if I oversleep and don't fill his dish. He gives me 'love pats' and I wake up and feed him.. then I can go to the bathroom and take care of my needs. But he does let me know that he comes first - and he's right. After he's eaten, he sits on me and washes his tongue, then he starts that sewing machine (purrrrrsss) and we go back and take another nap. I also have this Vitamin E paste for him, and I put is on my chin for him to lick off.. these are my imaginary kisses. I could tell you stories about this cat (lap-dog) - he adjusts his emotions with mine and we undestand each other so well. Most cats I had before always went to a hiding place a few hours each day to have their own 'space'... Larry is so stuck on me that I'm the one who has to leave the house to have some space without him.. when I get dressed to go outside, he looks at me as if the world is ending. When I come back in, he just has to tell me off and put me in my place - which is sitting indian style with him in my lap. OK, I'll stop now... Larry wants me to go night, night again.

Chery: You know cats can sense things. He knows what is going on with you... I promise! So, he is getting all is lovings as much as he can... I don't blame him.
My cat does the same thing though. When we get in the bed she comes and gives me kisses on my lips... she won't take a cheek, LOL. I love when they "make biscuits"/"love pat" on your belly :) I am one of those weirdos that refers to her as my "oldest child".

Your are so right rpg.. Larry does know what's going on with me. When I had my stroke and was in hopsital for almost 6 months, he lost so much weight that Jaime through he was going to die.. He started sleeping in his cat-box and was really poorly looking. When I came home, he clung to me like glue. He pepped himself up again and started eating right and sleeping right again.
When the first about of pneumonia came, he would lay on my chest with his paws around my neck and I could swear he sighed a lot. When I went back into hospital for three days to have my bronchoscopy, he started losing weight again and not eating his favorite food.. my neighbor told me that he spent all that time outside on his balcony even when it snowed - Jaime put a blanket out there for him and all he did was pee on it. I guess the neighbors thought that he was being mistreated. Upon my return, the balcony was forgotten as long as mom was home. The second time I went in for three days again to have more tests, he was acting the same and used his balcony for a toilet. Now, I have a small box out there for him and he no longer uses his regular cat-box. He used to love his balcony, but now he only goes out once a day to 'talk' to our other cat who lives outside, but then comes right back in to be with me. He has changed his habbits as I have had to change mine. He has become more of a clinger than usual, but I understand him - he wants to be with mom, and that's that. He follows me everwere and literally sits on my lap when I go to the bathoom, and when I'm in he bathtub, he sits on the toilet watching me, talks to me all the time.
He used to never like it when I cut his claws, and now he lays on his back, and lets me cut them with no complaints. So, he knows that claws hurt mom and is willing to give them up for her. His favorite place used to be on my thighs, but now he is on my chest, his ears near my heart and is paws around my neck.
I've always been close to all my pets, and believe in communication and closeness and that they always felt my emotions as I feel their's. Larry turned 16 in August, has had his ups and downs, but now he has only one mission and that is to spend all his time with me, no matter where I am.
My brother called last night to tell me that he wants me to come visit him for two weeks in January, has been planning this as a surprise with my daughter and they are looking for the best flights. The only reason he told me was because I need the OK from my doctor to travel. This warmed my heart so much and even if I cannot fly, it's the thought that counts and I will love them for it forever. I suggested that he come over here, but he said that he knows how much I loved my stay in Las Vegas the last time I was there and that he can always come to Germany at another time, and that this would be my last trip to Vegas alive... my urn will get there when the time comes, but he wants me to have some fun and peace there now.
I know Jaime would take good care of Larry, but have a feeling that he would go through hell during this time. So, now I talk to him constantly about going bye, bye, but 'mommy will be back'. I repeat this many times a day and I know he understands because that's what I say when I go to a doctor's visit or shop for food.
Please cross your fingers for me that this trip will be possible. The urge has become so strong that I cry when I watch C.S.I. on the television - it just feels like home... if you know what I mean. The thought of being in a warm place, feeling the love and warmth when my brother holds me while watching all the lights from the top of a hill, is so overwhelming. And knowing he wants me there releases emotions beyond words.
Sorry to ramble on so, I just have a weak moment right now and I am trying to ignore the pain radiating from my kidneys (they are shrinking for some reason), I know that this cancer can spread from head to toe, but hope it takes it's time and is not in a hurry... and when I'm alone I do have moments when I feel down and helpless - and I'm really trying hard to suppress that emotion as best as I can.
Thanks for listening hon. Hope you have a great day.
