OK so I'm 13 years old I have a boyfriend that is mixed and my dad doesn't accept me going out with him because he doesn't believe in mixing your race or whatever but I love this boy very very much practically in love at this young age so what can I do to stop being so stressed all the time and my dad yelling at me all the time because he doesn't believe in it... and I just really need help... I don't know what to do anymore? Please help.:(

The bottom line is, at age 13 your dad still has the say in who you date, etc. even if his reasons don't make sense to you. At your age you're going to go through a lot of boyfriends, many of whom I'm sure your father won't like, for one reason or another. Once you're grown up and living on your own, then of course you'll be free to date whomever you wish, with or without your father's approval. One thing I have to ask, though. Is the reason you like this boy so much because of his race and you know it'll get your father's goat? Often girls will deliberately choose boyfriends their parents dislike, either as a way to spite them or as a way to assert their own independence.

No I love my dad very much and I am deff. Not doing it just to get at him... I actually really love this boy very much but my dad is letting it be... but every once in a while he will say something to me about it... but as of right now we are OK.. but I deff. Agree with you on the age and everything but I really love this boy and everything and we have made it through 9 months so far so.. idk.. but yea :)
