    Separating cat and Kittens
My Cat gave birth 8 weeks ago and we are giving them away in the near future. I'm wondering how to best do this so that it reduces the mother's stress. Is it best to take them all away at the same time, or one at a time? She had 4 (her first litter) and we will be keeping one.

If you're concerned, take them away one at a time so the mother doesn't become angry.
