Hooking up a dishwasher's a simple operation. What's you reason for doing a temporary hook up and how were you going to do it? If you need specific instructions to do a permanent hook up click on back. Regards, tom

I had a portable dishwasher before and only want to hook the water to the faucet and the drain to the sink rather than hook it permanent

John, slow down with the "disagrees" since Speedball1 was asking you a question and needed more info to give you a good answer. Sure you can do a temporary hook up to the sink, just recycle the old hoses and faucet connector from you old washer. If you did not keep the old hoses the drain is simply a rubber hose, you might even get away with a length of garedn hose. The supply line is a special connector that gets added to you faucet and I don't see a safe way around buying this connector. If I missed anything just write back to us.
