    Should I call my doctor?
My husband and I have been actively trying to conceive since June, 2007. I have been off the pill since last November. During that time, we didn't use protection, just went with the attitude of if it happens that is fine. Well then in June we started to try. I began using the clear blue fertility monitor in July. The monitor has given me a peak reading each month and we've had sex around ovulation each month. Well I tested again this month and once again negative. I can't help but to begin to get concerned of not being pregnant. I know most people say to wait a year, but I'm becoming impatient. Also, the last few months (I believe 3), I've spotted for about 3 days before actually starting my period. I've read several things about spotting and some suggest that spotting could be low progesterone. What do you guys think? Do you think I should call my doctor or try for a few more months? Thanks for your help!

Also I wanted to add that I will be 28 in a few weeks and my husband is 32. We are both in good health. I was on birth control for about 10 years off and on before quitting completely last November. We are trying to conceive #1.

If you live in the uk I think they say if you have not had any luck within a year then you can seek medical advice. The thing is there is proberly nothing wrong with you both.
Sometimes it takes a long time. I no this must be very hard for you both, so maybe make an appointment to see what they say and if it has been enough time for tests to be done.
    Best of luck leti

I would say don't stress out about it I had a miscarriage July 5 2007 I was 3 months and then me and my b.f were trying for the 2 months so much we tried and then I finally gave up and now I am almost 9 weeks... so usually when you are trying so hard to conceive it won't happen it usually just happens!! I hope I was helpful!! I was so stressed out to conceive again... but always stressing yourself out won't help so just let it happen

I will try not to stress but that is easier said than done. How about the spotting before my periods? What do you think about that? Good luck with your pregnancy!:)

I would have to say that it might be because of you getting yourself stressed out that happened to me I was always stressed out on trying spotting a lot before my period!! I just think if you don't worry about it and not think about having a kid rite now everything will just come together!! Everything always happens for a reason!! That's what I always say!! It just takes time!!

Or maybe that it could mean that you are pregnant and it could be implantation bleeding!! Try taking a hpt around the time your period would come!!

Hello and breath nothing is wrong but I would talk toyoue doctor about what birth control you were on because I know in some studdies some women could not get pregnant after a long peroid of use,

Also spotting could mean an infection not trying to sound rude but do you use tampons? If you do it could cause complication in peroids.. my best advise would be talk to a doctor and ask some question don't leave anything out.. I would just relax put your feet up more and don't think OK get naked we must do it now if you are excited and so is he and you are relaxed the more likely you are to get pregnant and to give some hints while he is spilling his seed lay still make sure he is in fully when he is done pull out and put your but up in the air put some pillows under your bum to help relax and read a book for a bit wait for 3-4 min to make sure its all up there oh and what has worked for me is right after your peroid you will probbly get a girl latter you will probbly get a boy just before your peroid I have two boys and two girls so it has worked for me and take warm relaxing baths and try not to think about baby making just have sex to have sex not to get with child. I wish you all the luck and send my jinks your way to get pregnant with child soon... lol hope it works.

I am hoping with the holidays around the corner, I will be focused on that and try to relax to get pregnant. Thanks for your advice!
