    No hot water
We just replaced our hot water heater. After we installed it we we turned the water back on and filled it. Now hot water only comes out of a few of our water taps. Why?

You may have stirred up debris and it may have gotten in areators and stops and faucets. Does the cold still work on those faucets?

Doug, Thank you for responding. I know what happened so I will try to tell you. My husband had a friend who's a plumber look at the problem but I can't remember the exact names of the parts. The pressure balancing units (PBU) in side the brass body were corroded in each tub and shower faucet. We have well water and even though it's treated it must be rough on the plumbing. Out hot water heater was only 5 years old. The whole house is only 5 yrs. Old. Thank you,
