    Benzylarbutin. Testimonials, information?
Does anyone have any info on this product? What percentage works best?. I have heard it is close to monbenzene in it's lightening effects but I don't want to be white... or spotted... I am a dark skinned hispanic... closer to african american complexion... I don't have a problem with being brown however... for the past few years I've had a farmer's tan that is about 4 ahdes or so darker than my complexion and it never went away... ( I was in the military and we did a lot of work in the field in the sun) and it never went away even though I've been out of the sun for about 3 years now... I'm about to begin modeling in bikini and I want to be my old complexion... I've been using kojic acid cream and soaps along with an arbutin 5% cream to no avail for about 6 months... (however if you have freckles or mild melasma... this works very well in about 2 months... ) but as for lightening... nothing... I am very nervous about trying this benzylarbutin... I don't want to necessarily BLEACH myself and be pale... but being 5 shades darker than I used to be is bothering me a lot... I'm sure most medium brown complexioned women can say that they have had the same experience... when we tan... it seems that it stays... I feel strange asking this and even considering lightening because it makes me feel like I'm trying to be more caucasian... but I don't like the uneven skin tone I have now... and it's so drastic... my arms and neck and face area are about as dark as my nipples and my breasts are light along with most of my torso... so undressed I look a mess... so I really would appreciate any feedback that anyone has... I when to monobenzene.com and posted but it seems that they don't answer questions from new people too much... not a very social bunch I guess... or they had all been using monobenzene so it's hard to tell if this benzylarbutin product really works because some of them are already light... white... or have vitilago... so they can't give me effects on brown skin... if not... does anybody have any products that do work?. I have tried makari, amira, and don't have a good reaction... I bought Obagi once but too expensive and too little product comes in each bottle so I couldn't tell if it works cause after two bottles no results... I'm afarid of hydrquinone products because I've had previous problems with liver and kidneys and it passes through your liver which can be dangerous... (I'm not trying to die.. LOL)thanks...

I don't know if you would want Benzyarbutin then! Because I use only the Fairness cream and it faded all my skin out, including my nipples and lips look noticeably lighter. And I am African American X Blackfoot Indian X Creole so as you know having lighter lips and lighter nipples now than rest of family members gets noticed a lot and people do ask if I am biracial. Actually people assume half black half white like there's nothing else in me. I prefer "Mixed".

New to the site.. but I have been reading lots of the posted comments about bleaching cream/lotion and I'm a bit overwhelmed about which produce is the best. I'm currently using fair and flawless 5x and it is working but I haven't using it for an extensive period to know if it will get me to the shade I desire( I would like to get about 4-5 shades lighter Halle Berry' complexion, half black/white mix complexion). I came across people talking about Benzylarbutin and they seem to have some good results. What are your results, site you order from and percentage u use. Also most importantly is it safe and natural?

    thanks:confused:

I started to see results within 2 weeks and around 1 month I really started to see a significant change in my complexion. BTW... I used the 5x gel, although the results were good it tended to leave my skin a little dry, so I used 100% vitamin E oil or coco butter.

    Hello Boricua1,

I hate to disappiont you but if your are puerto rican ( Boricua) chances are you have african/black ancestry. I know because I have puerto rican friends and have been to P.R. many times.

The sun rays can darken skin as do humid wheather but, I'm talking about black genes and DNA. In puerto rico two white puerto ricans can have a black baby why? Because the black blood is dominate. Even after years of marrying and reproducing white genes a child maybe born with a darker complexion, that is called a throw back.

So my friend my advise for you is to be proud of who you are and check out your family history and leave your skin the way God meant for it to be.

ACTUALLY puerto ricans are HISPANIC !

There are some black boricuas but it is very few

Most black people need to quit feeling so insecure and oppressed about their own race and quit trying to classify other races as black that are not black

I am married to a Puerto rican lady and I am a black man, puerto ricans are a mixed race and would not exist without the african blood go to pinones, loiza Aldea, those people are blacker than me with pelo malo.

Hispanic is fairly a new word to identify people from latin america who speak spanish. There are black indians, mulatos and mestizos latinos. Listen, Boricua1 tell me, if I ask you to take four black men who where standing side by side and tell me which one is puerto rican or african american, african from africa or cuban you could not do me. Now if I asked you to tell me which ones are black you could.

Stop the nonsense before you get more embarrassed.

    Youseth,

There maybe a few black puerto ricans but there are more latino blacks in latin america than in the U.S.A. I know because I speak spanish and have traveled to many latin countries including the U.s. territory Puerto Rico where my wife family is from.

Rafael Ithier founder of El grand combo is black Puerto Rican has songs about black people as do many other artist.

I actually want to know how you lighted your lips. Did you apply Benzyl-Arbutin(BA) on your lips? Is it pinkish now or pale?:)

Omg you very silly every one knows that the descendents off hispanic people and latin americans carribeans are african europeans and indeginous indians as well as spanish they are a mixture of many different races that's why there is such a variation. However, the dark skinned latinos are severely under-represented in the media that's why most people would assume latinos to be fair when actually there's a lot of black ones also.

    Kia,

I recently asked the same question and received no response. I have also asked on other forums and to be honest, I can't find anyone who has actually used it.

I been using BA for 2 weeks now from Herbal inn. I'm not sure if it is working. I've been using only on my face. I was told that the site was a fake. Before I ordered from them I sent e-mails asking questions about the product but no one ever responded. But I ordered anyway. I sent a message along with my paypal account and they still never replyed. The package looks very cheap. I'm going to keep using until the bottle is empty before I make a final judgement but If it doesn't work my next step is to order pure BA. I seen a shop on eBay that sells the powder.

Used Ba For A Month, And Yes It Does Workkkk

It Has Cleared Up My Acne Scars, melesma( Which Is Why I Started To Look For Lightening Creams In The First Place)

Also It Prevents The Skin From Breaking Out Since It Performs A Light Peel On Ur Skin

I Have Also Lightened About A Shade

I'm sorry that certain members use a topic about benzylarbutin to generalize that all Puerto Ricans are mixed with african, which is not true. That's like saying everyone in Miami is cuban.

But anyway I have been using Benzylarbutin 5% for a few days now and will share a photo if I see any result. I've already posted a photo of how I look like now in another thread, but I cannot find a way to put in in an avattar.

The packaging looks cheap, it does look homemade, or custom made. Who knows, maybe the guy who started talking about it, Sam, mixes it at home or something. All I can tell at this point is that it's strong. When I put it on it feels really cool, a little numb, like it's spreading through the skin. I am trying to understand how lips and nipples would lighten unless applied there. I would love to see that happen at some point on myself. Especially since creams that I used before, like Makari and Skin success with hydroquinone fade cream, only made all my skin darker, including my hands, lips and nipples.
