What are you installing from? You should be inserting your Office Cd and choosing Add new features.

What version of Office? I don't recall those tools coming on a separate disk.

    Proofing Tools
    Hi,
I think it was misspelled. It is proofing tools and not prooftng tools. There is a package for it which comes in a CD. It includes spell and grammar chekers, thesaurases and other similar tools in various languages. I don't know what is Koony1's problem of installing it. There could be something wrong with the CD itself.
However please try the below website which I think will help you to install the proofing tools.

    Wish you success
