I had a hysterectomy in 2001 all is well and fine with having sex it is great and all but every time I do have sex I always seem to have symptoms of a yeast infection or bacteria infection. Sometimes I am worried that it is an std. I have been checked for everything and just recently I have entered into a new relationship and sure enough 3 weeks we have been active and I have another yeast infection or something. Is this normal.

Have you tried using extra lubrication? See if using an extra water based lube makes a difference with how you feel afterward.

Do you have a latex allergy? Have you checked?
Do you maybe have an allergy to something else being used, his body wash, his cologne...

When you got checked for the stds did you ask your doctor what he/she thought it was and if so what did he/she say?

This might sound weird but I have had a similar problem since having my son, my doctor told me to make sure I always go to the toilet after having sex. It seems to have worked
