    Bathroom Water temperature
Hi: I hope I can get an answer to my problem.
We have 3 bathrooms at home and suddendly the water temperature in one of the bathrooms started acting up. We put the knob to get cold water, we get hot, also it is happening in the shower, AND now the toilet when flushed we get hot water. This situation is happening intemittent. Sometimes is fine, sometimes is not.
This problem is not happening in the other 2 bathrooms.
Any idea what is our problem? Someone said it might be the calibration on the faucets, BUT the comode??

You have a crossconnection betweenb hot and cold water in the bathroom. Has any work been done on your water system lately? What brand of faucet do you have on your tub/shower? Does it have temperature or skuld guard on it. Try this. Locate the stops for the faucet and turn it off. ( Sometimes you will have to remove the handle and face plate to get at the screwdriver stops located where the supplies connect to the valve body) See taking the faucet out of the system doesn't help. Let me know. Tom

It sounds like you have a faulty cartridge in a tub/shower mixing valve or single handle lavatory faucet.

A less likely culprit would be a malfunctioning or omitted check valve in a hot water recirculating system.
