    Lost remote
    We have a sony trinitron with large detachable speakers on each side. We have lost the remote and are unable to get the TV off the sleep mode. Can anyone help me?

    I can not tell you were it is, but I can suggest getting a new remote. You can get them in any electronics store for fairly cheap. You just have to program it to your TV and away you go.

    And here's a place that offers replacement remotes by brand:

    If you have a store like Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart, Circuit City, etc. near you, you can find universal remotes there. I've even seen them in drugstores, particularly around the holidays when they offer fancy ones with extra bells & whistles.
