    In Texas, can a merchant charge in excess of the list price when using a credit card?

    Hello bob:

    A merchant can charge anything he likes. The credit card companies won't like it, however, if he makes THEIR customers pay more than CASH customers. If that's the case, call the credit card company and complain to them.
