Leaking Roof - Best repair option?
    Hi,

I have (finally!) located a leak in my roof. There is a hole about 1 inch square in the tar paper underlay that sits under the tiles on my sloping roof. When it rains and is moderately windy, water is dripping through.

I don't really want to get on the roof and fix it from the outside (I'd have to remove tiles and I might fall off! ). Therefore is sensible to patch the hole from the inside? If so what are the best materials to use?

    Hope you can help,

    Francis.

First I would be finding out why there is a hole in the tar paper. Could be the tile is broken?
