Dimmer control of ceiling fan does not operate.
I have two Harbor breeze ceiling fans (Aero, p/n 187541). The remote for the fan does properly control the fan speed but has no effect on the light dimmer feature. When power is turned onto the fan the light comes on at 100% but cannot be dimmed by the remote. What component in the fan can be changed to allow the dimmer feature to operate correctly?

Have you tried holding down the light/dimmer button?

This is what you first must do to confirm if the light will dim... YES, this was my first clue that the light did not dim.

This is the basis of my original question. Since the light does not dim and the sender and transmitter have been double checked... what component in the light fixture itelf can be changed to get back the dimming function.

There's not.. . The problem is either in the transmitter or the receiver. My bet is, the receiver.
