Help & Support Center will not open...
    Hello anyone...
For some unknown reason, I cannot open the "Help & Support Center" link found on the Start menu of my XP Home Version. I get an error message as follows: "Windows cannot find 'helpctr.exe'. Make Sure you have typed the name correctly and then try again...." How can I fix this problem? Thank you...

Ensure that the file Helpctr.exe is present in the following location in your system:

    C:\Windows\pchealth\helpctr\binaries

If it is absent, copy the same file from some other user and paste it into the folder above in your system. (You will need admin privilege to use this.)

If the file is present, cut it from this folder and paste it in D drive. Then again paste it in the above location. It should work now.

Try booting to your XP CD and running the Repair option when prompted.

Try copy all the "pchealth" directory from another windows installation into yours. It is located in windows\pchealth. It worked for me after I tried all other solutions without results.
