Removing each other from 2 deeds/titles
I was reading some of the previous answers regarding removing someone from a deed or title, and I would like to know is it that simple to go to county records and have the name remove with a supporting letter and spouse?

We are currently married and have both our names on the deeds of both homes. Is it possible to remove each other names from the titles leaving a single person on the deed and title, for each home without going into refinancing? And if so, will it have any influence on our credit?

If you have been reading previous answers you would know its NOT that simple. You cannot just change the names on a deed. You have to file a new deed that, in effect, sells the property from the current "owners" to the new "owners". No money has to change hands.

The change should have no impact on credit. However, if there are mortgages on the property, then you will need to get permission from the lenders on those mortgages to transfer the property. This may require a refinance of the loans.
