    High or Low - Compared to WHAT?

    Microsoft is not an ordinary hardware manufacturing company. I think its main expense is that of highly skilled professional staff.

    Therefore compared to ordinary manufacturers (eg Car makers) its Fixed costs are likely
    To be low because it does not need to invest heavily in machinery and equipment.
