    Locating someone
    Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows how to find out someone's place of employment without "paying" for the information. Thank you.

    No, not to my knowledge - even when you pay this is difficult info to obtain now that SS earnings are pretty much sealed. You can no longer check IRS/SS payroll info.

    Lots of investigators have private sources, such as Credit Bureau employees, collection agency employees, but I don't know if that is the case here.

    Collection agencies and Credit Bureaus do have access to this info.
