89 honda accord stalls out when gas pedal isn't pressed
MY 89 honda accord stalls and cuts off when the gas pedal isn't pressed. We adjusted the idol as a temperary fix, but that causes the car to sputter for a second or two after I turn it off. My battery light also has recently come on, I know autozone can help, but give suggestions if you can.

Go over your electrical system and check/replace spark plugs (NGK only), spark plug wires, rotor, distributor cap, Ignition Control Module (ICM), and coil.
