    How do I bypass a ceiling fan remote? We bought a repossessed house and the ceiling fan
    And light will not work.

    If an add on receiver, remove power. Unwire, remove, should be black(fan), white(neutral) and black/white or blue(light).
    If it is several wires. Will be more difficult.
    Getting replacement remote may be easier fix. You will need to match code to code set in receiver.
