Don't go tell her parents, if she feels she is ready to have sex and is not being forced into it, then let her go for it.
You may have a different set of mind and think that she is no ready to have sex because you feel you are not ready/ where not ready at that age.
Everyone matures differently and everyone feels differently. Let her be her own person and make her own choices.

As far as getting pregnant goes, as long as protection is worn she should be OK. However taking a morning after pill isn't a bad idea either.

Yes legally it is, but if she is willing she should be allowed.
Also trouble getting a date said "I THINK SHE IS UNDERAGE" it was never said she is not at the age where concensual sex is legal. It only said that Trouble getting a date thought she was too young!!

But if she is under the consentual age but still "willing" really at that age she doesn't understand what she is getting herself into. She would be "willing" to do something she doesn't understand.

Not nesserserally, if the legal age is say 18 in that state then I'm more than certain that a 17 y/o will understand what they are doing just as well as a 18 y/o would.

To answere this question properly I believe more information is needed. How old is your friend?

Well where I am from the age can vary from 15 or 16 any younger than that like 13 or so is way too young to consent

Yes as am I, but trouble getting a boyfriend may not be. Also how can you decide when anyone is ready to have sex? It's all about emotional and mental maturity, this may not happen till one is 25 or it may have happened by the time one is 15.
Therefore it is my opinion that only the person themselves can decide when they are ready.

Trouble getting a date knows her better than we do and obviously she has some concern for her friend or else she wouldn't have posted this question. Obviously trouble getting a date thinks she is not ready or else she wouldn't have posted this question. She said "I'm scared she might get pregnant" Obviously she is not ready for sex if she cannot deal with the consequence, since she said "i'm scared" she is not ready for a baby. If you have not considered the consequences of sex, like the POSSIBILITY of pregnancy, STD's, and regret, than you are too young to be "willing" to do it cause she is not understanding the full aspect of she is "willing" to do!
