    Counter Top Range Wiring
I am in the process of replacing/updating my wife's counter top electric range. The electrical supply line has three wires - black, white and ground. The pig tail for the range has three wires - black, red, white and ground. What is the proper way to connect these together?

    Thanks...

Assuming the black and white delivers 240 volts, connect black/range to black/feed, red/range to white/feed, white and ground from range to ground from the feed.
