    The death penalty
    I was just watching one of those court shows and they were talking about the death penalty. I live in Canada where that is not done, but I just wanted to know what you people think about it.

    I personally don't believe in it, I had a letter written when I was a police officer that if I was killed in the line of duty for them not to ask for the death penalty.

    It is effective, since those that are killed do not repeat their crimes.

    My issues
    Since not done in all states, not treated equal

    Not equally applied even in states

    Too many appeals, it takes 20 or more years to actually happen
    And cost in legal is high
