    First offence felony 15 weekends jail 2 yrs probation
    Hi 10 back in 97-98 I broke into a school with some other people turned myself in pleaded before talking to a lawer they dropped all acounts but 1. They sentenced me to 15 consecutive weekends in a county jail and 2 yrs probation.
    Will I ever be able to become a cop I have heard that in bigger cities they have had cops before thathad been to prison which is much worse then I got.

    Hello The:

    You got that backwards. Big city police forces can get the best candidates because they pay the most. Little teeny burgs can't get good help, cause it's boring and they don't pay squat. THOSE are the police forces that hire anybody.

    However, it sounds like you were convicted of a felony. So, you can't carry a firearm. Therefore, I doubt you'll get hired.
