    Subsidy code
    I was given this motorola v551 cell phone from cingular through a friend because it didn't work for him. I got it to work and would like to use it now. I need the subsidy unlock code for it so that I can put a different carrier chip in it. IMEI number is 356045005606640. Can anyone please help me so that I don't have to pay for this code

    Sorry no, it would not be correct for use to do that.


    We have no idea where you really got this phone, stole it, bought it from a man at a gas station and so on. Now yes you most likely got it from your friend, but you will need to have your service provider set it up.
