    Defamation of character?
    I have know clue what this is but maybe it will help. I was trying to find out if it is defamation of character if my boys friends soon to be ex wife goes to my work with her leb.girlfriend and tells them I'm a W**** and stold her hubby when in fact they have been going threw this divorce for a year and half now... anyway can I sue her for that not to get anything out of her just to make her life as miserable as she is mine or and she is also telling people that I am a danger for kids to be around NOT TRUE at all... and I quit my job because to many people told me to watcxh my back:confused:

    No - you could probably get a protective order against her. I don't see that you were harmed in all of this if you quit your job because you were told to watch your back.

    The wife is probably repeating what she thinks is true - and you would have to prove it is not.

    I'll be surprised if your boyfriend wants to complicate his divorce with any of this.

    Once again I am amazed that two women are involved with the same man, whether at the same time or different times, and they turn on each other instead of him.

    It has already been complicated . I met him well after he was getting a divorce. And she as went as far as to claim sexal asslt with cps on him that was RULED OUT becaused they couched the kiddo involved and the soon to be ex-mother in law was taken to jail for asslting him in court. O it is already messed up and I never knew her because like I said they had been going threw the D for a while before I met him.

    Just a comment: If she and the husband have a child together, you are going to be going through this drama for many more years. Just something to think about.

    Yes we know we have thought of that... :rolleyes: makes me ill but sometimes you have to do what you have to do I guess.If its meant to be it will be... :eek:
