I used to watch a program as a child in the 1970s and 80s and I have tried for over a year to remember the name but cannot. It was a childrens' program that consisted of an artist drawing a stick man on a black canvas/sheet. The stick man would 'come to life' in the sense that he would talk to the artist... getting him to draw whatever he needed. If I recall correctly, it was in French. I also seem to recall that episodes were very short, being almost 'fillers' until the next time slot. Sound familiar?

I would appreciate ANY information you can give me.
