Does it sound like I am pregnant?
I had sex using the pullout method around the time I was ovulating. Now I have been getting headaches which I NEVER get. I have been nauseous off and on. Then about a week before my period was due I started spotting which I never had before. My period is due any day now. I'm not sure if I am late or not because I don't count the exact days until I get my period. So I found out today I have a yeast infection. I heard they are very typical for pregnant women. Do I sound pregnant?

Take a pregnancy test. And get on birth control. We cannot diagnose you over the internet. However you do have pregnancy symptoms, but these are also period symptoms. So take a pregnanc test if your period does show up in about a week

And don't rely on the pullout method. It's pretty much the least effective form of "birth-control"

I did some research and found that yeast infections are very common in pregnant women, if this is the case why is Autism not just as common? I doubt this fact until it is proven. I have never heard this before.

There is no real link between yeast infections and autism. To this day there is no definitive reason as to why autism occurs. There are many theories, but no one has found exactly what causes it. It is known that if a woman has one child with autism she has a higher likelihood have having other children with autism. But there is no genetic factor found as of yet.

It is a very strange and elusive disorder and to link it with a yeast infection is plain silly as most all of our children would be autistic then.

Thanks J_9. That's what I thought, so I decided to further research it myself...

Let me know what you find. But in school last semester we were taught that there is no medical condition, such as a yeast infection, that causes autism. This should actually be a different thread. LOL
