I'm in the same situation. I've joined Zrii, selling "The Original Amalaki". Wonderful product with many health benefits. To learn more: Mom Making Money: Zrii, The Original Amalaki

Personally, I'd be leery of a multi-level marketing scheme in general. Here's a cautionary note about Zrii from scam.com:

You might want to read these guidelines on determining whether a MLM scheme is a scam from the Federal Trade Commission before looking into something like Zrii:

    Multilevel Marketing Plans

The moral is: do your homework, and be careful. Also be careful of internet "work at home" schemes that promise income for stuffing envelopes and the like. Achieving success on the internet requires something to sell and effort building your business, like everything else.

What skills do you have, and what market niches can you fill? If you have a craftsy or artistic bent, you might make something unique and sell it on eBay or even set up your own website business and market it. If you are a writer or editor, you can freelance your skills on boards like eLance and Guru.com. All of these will require some investment of time and money to succeed, so beware of those who promise to give you something for free. There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch.

I joined the Zrii business after much thought and research. MLMs have a bad name so I was very cautious. I agree "there's no free lunch" - this is not a "get rich quick" scheme; people will be successful if they are honest and they work hard. I chose this business based on the product. Amalaki has been used in Ayervedic medicine for over 5000 years and has been used for over 10 years in the Chopra Center for Wellness. Deepak Chopra is not directly involved in Zrii - The Chopra Center for Wellness would not be endorsing a product that he was making a direct profit on. The Chopra Center is endorsing the product because they believe in the health benefits it has to offer. The Chopra Wellness Center endorsement is on every bottle of the Original Amalaki and this is the first time that the Center has ever endosed a 3rd party product.
My goal was to find a way to generate an income while working from home - I work when my little on is napping or in bed for the night. This has been a good choice for me.
