    RPMs going crazy
    I have a 1993 Acura Integra, B18 engine, the cars RPM gauge started to fluxuate and then the car would stall this happens when I am driving. I read the code. VSS was the code. The VSS is part of the speedometer gauge cluster, so I replaced the gauge cluster , reset the PCM and it still is acting up someone anyone please help

    It sounds like you need to replace the Variable Speed Sensor on the transmission--easy job. Before replacing it, however, try cleaning the contacts and connector and see if that solves the problem. If replacing the VSS doesn't solve the problem, test/replace the Ignition Control Module.
