    Low pressure from kitchen faucet
We had a handy man come in to snake out our sink because it wasn't draining. Since he did this, we had problems with super low water pressure in the kitchen sink. My husband is handy, so he figured it was the faucet that was clogged. We bought a brand new faucet and installed it and STILL no water pressure. The dishwasher is next to the sink and the water pressure to it is fine. The only thing we can figure is that the water pipes coming into the sink have a clog in them somewhere. Any ideas? We'd appreciate all help.

    Thanks!

What kind of faucet did you get? Many new faucets are low flow.

It's a price pfister - not a low flow. Yes, it's low on both hot and cold.

Try to disconnect the water pipes under the faucet and see how much volume you get in a bucket. Look for debris at that connection or inside the faucet

When you changed out the faucet did you flush out the supplies? The handy man disturbed some crud built up on the pipe walls and now it's clooggfing your supplies. Shut off the angle stops and remove the supplies. Now place a pan over the angle stop and open them up one at a time to flush them out. You should have a strong stream. If not click on back. Good luck. Tom
