When the toilet is flushed I lose water pressure through-out the house. How do I correct this problem? I have a well, not city water.

Is your well system pressure switch 20/40 or 30/50 psi. I have a well also, and yes you do lose some pressure when flushing. I use 30/50 pressure switch.

The house is 16 years old with copper domestic water lines. I have recently replaced the water tank, believeing that the bladder in the old tank was leaking.

Volume and pressure. To have pressure you must have the volume to back it up. Most pressure problems are caused by old piping with mineral build up on the pipe walls. I have seen 3/4" galvanized water service pipes so choked with iron oxide, (rust) that the opening was no larger then a pencil. This choked the volume down so much that when a faucet was opened or a toilet flushed it diverted all the water to that fixture. The volume was so little that a trickle was all the other fixtures were left with. I don't know why you've lost pressure butI just gave you the most common cause. Check the bladder tank and make sure the tank pressure's set right. 2 PSI under the cut in pressure with the pump shut off and the system drained down.
