    Ceiling Fan and Remote
    I have a Hampton Bay, model 52-RTD remote only fan. My remote light comeos on but the fan does not respond to my request. I can't stop the fan, slow it down or turn it off. Is this the remote or the fan unit not working. Thanks for your help

    Probably the receiver. Does the fan have a light kit? If so, does the remote operate the light as it should?

    No it want work for the light or the fan. Could it still be the remote. Thanks

    It could but it is much more likely the receiver.
