I don't know if this is going to get you a good grade, but unrestricted trade means anybody can sell anything to anybody. That's a good thing.

I do not need it for a grade I need it for my own curiosity! I have never really understood the international trade subject and was looking around for other opinions. Thank you, though.

It can be a good thing for some countries and not for others. For us in the United States I don't think it will be such a good thing because basically poor quality items would be allowed into our country because the quality control standards would be low. As long as we keep our standards high, this should not happen. Unfortunately, the tainted toy products from overseas did get through and our standards are pretty high. We may need to raise them even further to protect our citizens and especially our little ones (children)

The way I understood this, is Unrestricted International Trade is just how it sounds. It is allowing anybody to trade anything to anyone without any restrictions. In some cases it can be a bad thing especially for the less fortunate countries, because they are unable to compete financially, and good for others because they will then have unlimited supply to anything from overseas. I hope this helps.
