Looking for pro bono in Tx
:( [F]I really don't know what to ask. I've never thought to seek help from anyone besides a doctor, which I really can't afford. I suffer from severe depression. When I'm depressed, nothing can make me happy. I have two wonderful children, and a loving boyfriend, but when I'm down, even that doesn't make a difference. All I want to do is lay in the bed and sleep away my problems. I really want to be a good mother, but I honestly don't know how. I suffer from diabetes and epilepsy, so I'm on disability, and I am not eligible for medicare yet. That means that I don't have any insurance yet, and I really can't afford a psychiatrist right now. I was wondering if anyone out there knew of any programs that could help me. I live in Texas. I have two children. I'm 30 years old, and I'm on disability. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

ANY health care facility in the public forum,HAS TO ACCEPT YOU,

Your income is a scale they will base a billing for, even if you make $20.00 a week, they have to accept you.

Don't let depression keep you in bed, that's its purpose, to tell you you 'CAN'T DO IT', a call to the mental health care facility in your county/perish, will get you the help you need!

I have been there, I am still there,, to an extent. I suffered for too long with it,and I HATE to see it ruin another persons life, don't let it!

I realize that phone is a million miles away, and the call is something which requires words you might not be able to say, BUT, the rewards are far easier than you think.

Honesty, open mindedness, and willingness are the keys to a brighter future, for you and your kids,If you can't do it for yourself, do this for your kids, they will LOVE you for it!:)

Here is a site for depression I have been posting on this site, It is a question and answer type, just like here, but deals with depression.

    Welcome to Depression.com

That's a start, professional assistance is the next right thing, I care! I can't stand depression dragging others down, when we have a chance of fighting it,even if we have to do it in writing on ASK ME HELP DESK! ( this does a lot for me, and I hope it does a lot for you too:))
