What is going on with my ex?
My boyfriend and I broke up over a month ago. We are both 16. So far, he's been mean to me, then really nice. Then mean again, and then really really nice. And now, he's being super nice. What's going on? Why is he being like that. And now, people are saying that he likes somebody else, but he denies that he does. And I've also heard that he's still not over me, even though he says he completely is. But I think he isn't, because he keeps calling me to talk about nothing. Or to ask what I'm doing that night. Or to ask how my soccer game went that day. He is really confusing me, and I don't know what to do. What is up with him?

I do not know what is up but he is not your boyfriend anymore so I do not see why you need to worry about it.

I still think I like him a bit too. I mean, a year ago today, we were madly in love. And now, we're not. That hurts... how do I get over him?

You're only 16 for god sake! You sound like it's the end of the friggin world. You ll fall in love several more times. First cut is the deepest though. Each guy will have something different that you will fall in love with a different new book with a preface and an ending. Keep your head up and keep looking

Well lets take a look at human evolution here shale we. Males like me have this primal instinct when growing up. It's the caveman stage in a man (Teens) what is a caveman's thoughts? To mate with as many females as possible and become the alpha male of his tribe. Some places men do this late into their 50s. I thank god stopped at 26. The mean nice mean nice treatment is about domination. Just run for cover because things are all an illusion at this stage in life. Our generation is different then the past when people fell in love in high school and were married ever since. Were exposed to more and more sexual illusions and relationships become harder to manage. A mans world is changing to the crap shown on MTV. Who actually will become one of those guys driving a car with girls in bikini's dancing around it? We see it and think cool and subconsciously strive for this type of success. Again its related to the time cycle of maturity. My advise is to go out and meet more guys and you will find the guy who will treat you right. After all he is going out to try more girls isn't he?

Yeahh... well nobody at my school likes him, or will go out with him, because of how mean he was to me. I don't ever want to be back with him. Never. I have moved on. Is it wrong though, to keep a picture in my locker of us? I like it there for the memories, but he says I shouldn't have it there, because it's a sign that I haven't moved on yet. But that's completely not true.
