Hi, I'm 22 years old and have the same problem. I have this pea sized lump in my left underarm. I noticed it just a week ago. It's not painful when I touch it but it is very hard and it does not move. I just had a cold for about a month. And I did take Zyrtec (allergy medicine) for my cold. Is this a swollen lymph node? If so, how long will the lump go away? Thanks.

First let me say that it is not good to piggyback your question on someone else's thread, so I have moved your question to a thread of it's own.

What you are experiencing may or may not be lymph node enlargement due to your cold. I think that it may be, but without a proper exam I can not say definitively. If it is a swollen lymph node it could take up to 6 months to go away.

You really need to have this examined by your doctor though. Proper medical diagnosis cannot be made via the internet.

I found this question on the tail end of someone else's question. They seem to get lost that way and never answered. So, I moved this question to a thread of it's own.
