    Getting out of my lease because I disable?
    I was trying to work but I lost my job after I came back from the Family Medical Leave and my wife lost hers for being gone from her job to long?

    Do you think the Landlord would understand?

    Yes he will understand and he will feel awlfully bad when he has to evict you. But of course he has bills to pay and in business we normally feel sorry for people, and we understand, and if you will have income coming in soon, he may work something out with you. Will he let you stay for a long time with no money and no way to pay, no of course not. This is a business, and landlords make their living this way.

    Please remember unless you are renting from a charity, rental income is a business, I owned and had rentals until this year myself. I may because of the church, allow someone a couple of months, but again, I had insurance payments on the property, real estate taxes that had to be paid, and nomrlaly a mortgage on the properties, So without a rental income, most landlords are losing money each month there is no rent
