What color would be the easiest?
I am a dark brunette. Ive nevr dyed my hair but the greys are starting to come now. I want to do something different with it but I don't know where to begin. Could I go to an auburn without any problem?

Use a lighter color than what you are already. It will color the gray and hardly be noticeable. It will also be easier to maintain when it starts growing out.

In order to go from dark to red, your hair must first be lighten and then you can apply the desired color. So if you want to color your hair auburn, you will need to lighten the hair one level lighter than the color you want, then apply the desired color. You should consider getting it professionally done.
