Sears Lawn Tractor - exhaust smoke and power
I have a 15.5 h.p. Sears lawn tractor. When I start the engine, billows of white/gray smoke come out. Then when I operate the tractor, the billows continue and suddenly I lose power and the engine cuts out. I can start it again, but the same thing happens.

I did find small white crystals in the gas line and cleaned them out. For a few minutes, the tractor operated again pretty well. Then, the problems started all over again.

Is the engine shot, or is there a filter I need to replace. Where are these crystals coming from.

    Any help is much appreciated.

Sounds as though someone doesn't like you very well, could it be sugar in the fuel causing the "crystals"?
