You have to be the best you you can be. You have to be a better person than the other guys. Be yourself. Some suggestions might be to develop some itrests outside football and go forward with it. You are bound to meet a girl that way. Do you go to church or temple. Usually they have some youth based organization you can join. Good luck.

Dating is all about personality, not size or looks. First glance a person will look at how pretty a person is, but after five minutes with a beautiful person that cannot string two words together you soon realize that what is inside is more important. Like others have mentioned, if you belong to a church, get involved in activities there. There are a wealth of kids there that want to develop long term relationships. Learn to make small talk, learn to listen, and above all be smarter than the other kids you are competing with, Girls will appreciate that more than a pretty face.

First of all, why are you so preoccupied with getting a girlfriend? At your age you should be focused on your studies (and your sports) and doing whatever else you enjoy. While I agree that social networking is important for a young person such as yourself, "finding a girlfriend" isn't something that's worth expending time and energy on as it will only keep you from more important activities. You'll want to make as many friends and acquaintances as you can, both in school and out but that's different from having a girlfriend. If you want to find people to date, that'll come about as you build your social base.

The best things happen when we least expect it. Stop actively looking for a girlfriend (girls can sense when you are looking), just go out and be yourself. Do things that you enjoy doing, your sports for example. Focus on school and your friends. Girls will come.
