How do I know if my ex-girlfriend wants to come back to me?
I would like to know what signs I need to recognize if my ex-girlfriend is thinking about getting back to me, or at least still keeps me around as a friend after we had been together for about a year.

Does she still call you, email you, or try to have any contact with you? Was the breakup really bad or fairly easy? Did you break up with, did she break up with you, or was it a mutual thing? If nothing else, just call her or send her an email explaining that you would like to be friends at least. If she doesn't want to be, then you won't be any worse off than you are now. But, maybe she will feel the same. I think that life is too short to leave things unsaid. Good luck!

The tricky thing with girls is they know what men want to hear and are very good at saying it to them so its hard to trust after a break up. I have just gone through a bad break up after 2 year she left me for someone else and now she claims after 2 month apart to want me back but I can't trust that she isn't just keeping me around for safety.you need to not want her so that it won't matter if she wants you or not... easy to say I know. Just tell her how you feel once and once only and then say your going to give her some space. In that space you may get over her and she may want you back only time will tell I'm afraid but the time on your own will do you the world of good even if you don't feel like that now
