    Puppy problems
We just got a 10 week old neo last weekend. We started night time crate training immediately and had no problems. He goes about 4 hours before needing to be let out. But, on Tuesday, when we had to go back to work, the problems started. I came to check on him about 3 hours after I left for work and he had pooped all over the crate. I had a family member check on him today about 2 and a half hours after we left and he pooped again. He won't poop at night in the crate but does when we're gone. What should I do?

I think it is the stress of being left alone. They should be able to hold it. I have had very few accidents in the crate even leaving 7 week olds 4-5 hours at a time in the day time. Do a search here, and you will find many similar questions, few answers, and even fewer reports of success. You could try a Kong stuffed with peanut butter. Some dogs would be too busy licking it out to notice you were gone. Freezing it makes it last longer. I think one of the most successful things has been medication from the vet.
