    Shower unit fitted with platform underneath
    Is it advisable to have a shower unit fitted with a platform underneath so that if there were a leak it could be got to easily.

    I would be very grateful for anyone's views as to how important a platform would be.

    It would be nice if we knew where the shower was going. What type of shower? What's the drainage set up? In short, you haven't furnished enough information to answer your question. To me a shower on a platform looks like it was a plumbing after thought. Regards, Tom
