Prenantal vitamins?
Is it OK to take prenatal vitamins and be on birth control, or is that not healthy?

Perfectly fine and very healthy, ESPECIALLY if you are in your child bearing years.
You never know when you get pregnant, the pill is not 100% effective, just ask my 2 oldest children, and you need the folic acid in the vitamins should you become pregnant accidentally.
Go for it!!

Thanks, we were trying to get pregnant but my estrogen level was unusually low and so I was put back on B/C to raise it. I was just thinking I might need to discontinue it, but I guess not.. thanks A lot!

I am 43, had a tubal done 5 years ago, and continue to take prenatals.
Prenatals are wonderful because they contain all of the essential vitamins our bodies need. Should you discontinue and get pregnant after a while, you run the risk of neural tube defects during the first 3-4 weeks of pregnancy. Most women do not even know they are pregnant during this time.
So, please continue to take them. I'm sure, in fact I'm positive, your doctor would agree.
