    02 GM Mercury
    My 2002 Grand Marquis will not shift into park. Every other gear works fine, but I cannot shift it into park. Help! I didn't hit anything; it just happened when I tried to park a few minutes ago.

    The Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) on the transmission, or cable there to, may need adjusting or replacing.
