    Divorce while incarcerated?
    How can you get a divorce while incarcerated? Is it true that I can ask for a divorce in the local newspaper and if they don't answer, we are divorced?

    Are you or the other person incarcerated? This is a states' right. You'll need to find out about those divorce laws in your state.

    I'd probably seek real legal advice here. Is his name on the birth certificate? Are you planning on seeking child support?
