    A Father needs
I feel I am a very good father and anyone who reads this will understand that divorce is tough on the children. I follow my child support requirements and I am never in arrears. Our court order is joint custody with their primary residence with her. I have unlimited visitation. She previously had the children in activities where a could attend, baseball, football, soccer etc. She had moved in with her boyfriend late summer 2006 since that time she has removed the children from these activities to more of a studio type activities tae-kwondo, dance, skateboarding etc. Now I don`t get the opportunities I had in the past I suffer and so do the children. In addition our arrangement is to meet halfway and them to be dropped off and picked up at specific times. She will not meet me for drop off. If I don`t drive all the way to her house she will not let me see the kids. She also continually plans activities when it is my scheduled visitation. I am forced financially support but what about mental support? The children have complained how she has taken time away from us. If there was a penalty monetarily for all the lack of time she has removed the children you would see a complete change in her behavior.
Note* I had the children removed from her in 2004 for incompetency she went to therapy and through a guardian et litem the were returned.
She is an only child, was adopted and doesn`t feel fathers are important. I believe the states should look at the mental impact to children. Its not always about money.
    Suggestions.

Well just the fact that she is no longer meeting you halfway for visitation puts her in contempt of court. She is purposely hindering a visitation order and trying to make it harder for you to spend time with your children.

I would consult with an attorney (call around for those that offer a free consultation). I would get her back in court to adjust visitation. To bring to light that she isn't following the original order, as far as meeting you halfway. I would also see if the judge would take into consideration, listening to your children, since they seem to see what is going on here.

    Good luck.
